5 Great benefits of Chess for Child Development
Our academy was started in an attempt to provide the best service for our children. Being a parent and going through many mediocre classes for kids, we started our own company Leadership Sports HK to fill the gap and ensure the right child development.
We have trained professional chess coaches and we control the size of our classes so we can give the deserved attention to each child.
It is truly a pleasure to watch them learn and grow in the game and improve themselves in various areas of their life from what they have learned through the game.
There are many benefits of teaching chess to your child, here are some of them:
- It improves the ability to concentrate and Focus:
Focus is one of the main requirements of Chess, it is merely impossible to play the game without focusing. Since the opponents do not tell you of their strategy. It is important for a player to concentrate and keep track. Our coaches have specific drills to help improve focus.

Decision making is a necessary process if you want to have any kind of success in basically anything. To learn decision making as a child is a great gift that can stay with you for a lifetime.
